A Personal Update & Plan

06.27.2012 by Jon // Leave a Comment

This morning I released a personal update.

Stay At Home CEO was launched about a month before we discovered we are pregnant with our third child.

This threw me and my dreams for SAHceo for a loop.

I still have a heart for supporting private solutions for public problems, but I also know the time commitment of a newborn, no matter if it is human or business.

This update is titled Would you like to Change Your World?

A question I ask myself and others from time to time, but have come to some conclusions.

My main focus outside caregiver for my family is now:
1. develop relationships
2. learn more
3. do things that can help private solutions for public problem

This means mostly working on JonathanNation.com and AllyNaiton.com, but from time to time I intend to add more to Stay At Home CEO, or talk about other content specifically for Stay At Home Moms & Stay At Home Dads who have a dream of some business.

I can say, I have had to think deeply about what it really means to be a Stay At Home CEO & how it can work.

I hope you will connect with me outside of SAHceo, you can learn more & find places at JonathanNation.com

Traveling with Twins

12.01.2011 by Jon // Leave a Comment

This week we are traveling, meeting up with some grandparents. It’s a good time to break away and work on dreaming, then planning.

There have been great moments, challenges, and lessons learned. The biggest phrase that comes to mind is if you try to do too much; too fast, it often ends with less than desired results.

I keep trying to think about that as I am trying to focus on resting, investing(planning), and good consumption.

Happy Thanksgiving from the SAHceo Family

11.24.2011 by Jon // Leave a Comment

We want to wish you a happy and joyful thanksgiving. We have much that we are thankful for & try to focus on where we have gone in the past year leading into and through thanksgiving. Then we focus on the future after it is over.

If for some reason you have issues finding what to be thankful for, we recommend this post by our good friend Thomas titled Not “for what” … but “how” are you thankful?
